Tradingview - How to set up alerts on your chart

I am going to explain to you the step-by-step instructions to enable alerts on your chart.s I am taking the Divergence Solution indicator as an example. Please keep in mind that, for other indicators, they may have different types of Condition.

Step 1: Click on the Alert icon on the top of your chart.

You will see the Create Alert windows will show up, as shown below.

Step 2: Fill in information needed to create the alert. Under Condition, select Divergence Solution, then select a divergence signal that you want to create an alert for. There are four different divergence signals: Bearish divergence, Bullish divergence, Hidden bearish divergence and Hidden bullish divergence. For example, I select the divergence signal “Bearish divergence”, as shown in the picture below.

Step 3: Under Options, select how you want to show the alert. Set the Expiration date, select Alert actions, enter Alert name and message. For example, in the picture below, I select Options as “Only Once”, Expiration date as “2022-08-13”, Alert actions as “Show pop-up”, Alert name as “first alert”, and Message as “Bearish divergence”. Then click Create.

Now you have completed setting up an alert.
