MA Precision Filter
1.What is MA Precision Filter indicator?
- The "MA Precision Filter" is a technical trading indicator designed to enhance decision-making in trading by filtering out market noise and reducing lag.
- It functions by isolating significant price movements from the spectrum, calculating the Root Mean Square (RMS) of these movements, and using these RMS values to define signal thresholds.
- This indicator is beneficial in minimizing false alerts, particularly in volatile or noisy markets, and can be used across various time frames and symbols. It also supports automated trading features like alerts through pop-ups, push notifications, or emails.
- Key features of the MA Precision Filter indicator include:
- Reduces lag effectively so the alerts are usually at the market tops and bottoms.
- Removes market noise. Especially on smaller timeframes, the market noise usually makes regular indicators give false alerts, but not this indicator. It seldom gives false alerts
- Determines accurate entries: bullish alert when the indicator line crosses above the -RMS line, and bearish alert when the indicator crosses below the +RMS line
- Helps identify profitable exit: when the indicator line reaches the other RMS line
